Inhalt
Im Mittelpunkt der Lehrveranstaltung steht die Behandlung und kritische Auseinandersetzung mit Instrumenten und Methoden, die im Rahmen des Projektmanagements und -controllings in Unternehmen eingesetzt werden können. Behandelt werden typische Eigenschaften und Strukturen von Projekten, mögliche Erfolgsfaktoren, Methoden und Instrumente des Controllings und Managements von Projekten in unterschiedlichen Projektphasen sowie Ansätze des Multiprojektmanagements. Dabei werden sowohl die theoretische Fundierung der Instrumente als auch ihre praktischen Einsatzmöglichkeiten diskutiert.
Erworbene Kompetenzen
Zunächst werden Kenntnisse über grundsätzliche Anforderungen an Instrumente des Projektmanagements und -controllings erworben. Darüber hinaus vermittelt die Veranstaltung Wissen über Stärken und Schwächen und damit Einsatzmöglichkeiten und Grenzen der, in der Praxis verbreiteten, Instrumente und Methoden. Kompetenzen in der Ausgestaltung und der Weiterentwicklung des Projektmanagements und -controllings werden ebenso erlangt wie solche der praktischen Anwendung der eingeführten Instrumente unter Zuhilfenahme der Standardsoftware Microsoft Excel.
Contents
The module’s key aspect is the approach and critical contention with instruments and methods used in the context of project management and controlling within enterprises. It covers characteristic features and structures of projects, their possible success factors, methods and instruments of the controlling and management of projects in diverse project phases as well as approaches to multi-project management. Regarding these instruments, their theoretical basement as well as potential applications are discussed.
Competences
Initially knowledge about fundamental requirements concerning instruments of project management and controlling is acquired. What is more the module conveys knowledge about strengths and weaknesses and therewith fields of application and limits of commonly used instruments and methods of practitioners. Competences within the configuration and development of the project management and controlling are obtained as well as skills within the practical use of introduced instruments with the help of standard software Microsoft Excel.
