Moritz Beck

Moritz Beck holds a master degree in Mathematics from the University of Wuerzburg with a focus on machine learning and statistics. His master thesis focused on the development of a machine learning based
price interval prediction in the real estate sector. Before starting his doctorate, he co founded a tech startup and worked as a data science consultant.

His current research is focusing on data-driven optimization methods and its applications to Operations Research problems. One of his main research projects concerns the application of inverse reinforcement learning to intractable multi-period stochastic optimization problems.
