Classification
Depending on the choice of the Compulsory Electives Business Management and Economics, the courses offered by the Chair of Econometrics can be credited to a different extent.
If the focus Econometrics is chosen in the Compulsory Electives Business Management and Economics, then Econometrics 1 and Econometrics 2 are compulsory courses. Further courses offered by the Chair of Econometrics count as Compulsory Core Electives in this case.
If the focus Research Methods is chosen in the Compulsory Electives Business Management and Economics, there is the possibility to credit Econometrics 1 in Compulsory Core Electives I and to credit Econometrics 2, Econometrics 3, Microeconometrics or Analysis of Financial Market Data in Compulsory Core Electives II.
If a different focus is chosen in the Compulsory Electives Business Management and Economics, it is possible to include different courses as Compulsory Core Electives.
Furthermore, there is the possibility to choose the Advanced Seminar: Econometrics at the Chair of Econometrics in the Interdisciplinary Seminars and Workshops.
In general it is recommended to take the basic courses Econometrics 1 and Econometrics 2 at first. Building on this, the courses Econometrics 3, Microeconometrics and Analysis of Financial Market Data follow, which can be attended independently. It is recommended to attend the seminar after having completed the above mentioned courses.

It is recommended to attend the seminar after having completed the above mentioned courses.
