Bio
Dr. Sascha G. Walter is a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Julius-Maximilians-University in Würzburg (Germany). He was previously a faculty member of Lancaster University Management School (UK), where he served among other things as Head of Department. He holds a PhD in Management and a ‘Habilitation’ (equivalent to a second doctorate) from Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel (Germany). His research focuses on entrepreneurial ecosystems, startup-incumbent relationships, and entrepreneurial strategies. Sascha’s work has been published in journals, such as Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Research Policy, Small Business Economics, Journal of Business Ethics, and Entrepreneurship & Regional Development.
